Football Hotpage > Week Four – T.O.O. Much T.O.

This Wednesday satellite radio turned in to T.O. Radio. I could not take it any more. With everything going on in the world of sports – week four of a fascinating NFL season, final week of the major league baseball regular season, another great week of college football, etc – we get too much Terrell Owens. Honestly, it got too a point where I could not listen to my satellite radio anymore. How many doctors that have never met or spoken to Owens could provide their diagnosis on the radio? Someone please make it go away so we can all concentrate on the sport side of sports.

Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander is expected to miss several weeks of action, likely putting an end to his record streak of consecutive seasons scoring 16 or more touchdowns (five). Shaun is out looking for a faith healer to fix the broken bone in his foot.

Kurt Warner is on the hot seat in Arizona. Expect Warner to start the next three weeks as the Cards should not expose rookie Matt Leinart to the Bears in week six. But back-to-back week seven and eight games against the Raiders and Packers seems like the perfect time to introduce Leinart to the NFL.

From the NFL anomaly department – none of the top three in the NFL in rushing yards (Willis McGahee, Warrick Dunn, or Tatum Bell) have a rushing touchdown. While fleet-footed quarterback Charlie Frye has three and Byron Leftwich has two.

The Houston Texans, with top draft choice Mario Williams anchoring the defensive line, have allowed 483.7 yards per game. The Packers, Jets, Titans, and Browns are in the next group, 100 yards per game worse than the Texans.

Good luck to all this fantasy football season!

How can you rate Daunte Culpepper so high at #5 QB? Have you looked at any of his fantasy stats sofar this year?

If Culpepper cannot post very good numbers against the Texans, then the Dolphins should cut him now.
