Jerome Bettis – 39 yards – 1 touchdown – guaranteed touchdown near the goal line
Shaun Alexander – 132 yards – 2 touchdowns – the best player of the weekend by far

Cedric Wilson – 5 receptions – 92 yards – 1 touchdown – surprise big game was a bonus for the Steelers
Hines Ward – 5 receptions – 59 yards – 1 touchdown – steady as they come
Darrell Jackson – 6 receptions – 75 yards – 1 touchdown
Jerramy Stevens – 6 receptions – 66 yards – 1 touchdown

Jeff Reed – connected from 47 and 42

Steelers defense – 4 turnovers – 3 sacks – big reason for three straight road playoff wins
Seahawks defense – 4 turnovers – 2 sacks

FIZZLE

Jake Plummer – 18-for-30 – 223 yards – 1 touchdown – 2 interceptions – turnovers in key spots blew any chance the Broncos had
Jake Delhomme – 15-for-35 – 196 yards – 1 touchdown – 3 interceptions – interceptions killed any chance the Panthers had

Broncos – 14 rushing attempts by running backs – sure, they were down early, but to give Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell a combined 14 carries is a crime
Nick Goings – 5 carries for 2 yards – not the effort that the Panthers needed with DeShaun Foster and Stephen Davis out

Steve Smith – 5 receptions for 33 yards – covered up with masterful precision and nobody else stepped up to the plate

John Kasay – no attempts

Broncos defense – over 30 points allowed – could not stop the Steelers at all
Panthers defense – over 30 points allowed – Panthers had no answers
