Sizzle and Fizzle > Division Playoffs

SIZZLE

Jake Delhomme - 24-for-33 - 319 yards - 3 touchdowns - 1 interception - The worst match-up entering the weekend turned out the best numbers.
Ben Roethlisberger - 14-for-24 - 197 yards - 2 touchdowns - 1 interception - 1 tackle - The first quarter changed the entire playoff picture and how about that game-saving tackle at the end?

Mike Anderson - 69 rushing yards - 2 touchdowns - Made it count.

Steve Smith - 12 receptions - 218 yards - 2 touchdown - Dominated the most dominant defense.
Darrell Jackson - 9 receptions - 143 yards - 1 touchdown - Picked up the slack with Shaun Alexander out.
Santana Moss - 7 receptions - 103 yards - 1 touchdown

John Kasay - 3 field goals

Steelers defense - 18 points allowed - 5 sacks - Dominated the Colts for three quarters.
Broncos defense - 5 turnovers - Seemed to have Tom Brady confused most of the day.

FIZZLE

Tom Brady - 20-for-36 - 341 yards - 1 touchdown - 2 interceptions - Big yardage, but key mistakes.
Peyton Manning - 22-for-38 - 290 yards - 1 touchdown - 0 interceptions - The Colts needed a better effort in the first half.

Shaun Alexander - 9 rushing yards - Gets another chance.
Tatum Bell - 19 rushing yards - Virtually invisible.
DeShaun Foster - 54 yards rushing - Broken ankle.

Marvin Harrison - 3 receptions for 52 yards - The best receiver in the NFL needed a bigger performance.
Bobby Engram - 2 receptions for 11 yards
Ben Watson - 0 receptions - But he made the best play of the weekend that nobody will remember. Chasing down Champ Bailey is a film clip that should be used for all youth sports.

Jeff Reed and Robbie Gould - No field goal opportunities.
Mike Vanderjagt - Missed the biggest kick of his career.

Bears defense - 29 points allowed - Who could have projected that the best defense would allow the most points this weekend?
