Here are some quick hits and tasty tidbits for you to consider as you set
your Week 4 Monday night fantasy lineups.
Baltimore Ravens
* Running back Willis McGahee (eyelid) should play against
the Steelers, but he figures to lose some carries to LeRon McClain (ankle/back).
Consider Willie Mac a No. 3 or flex running back.
* McClain, meanwhile, is a worthy start due to his nose for the goal line.
If you still have a roster spot available, McClain is not a bad choice as a
flex play.
* IDP note: Defensive back Samari Rolle (shoulder/neck)
will not play this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers
* Wideout Santonio Holmes is off to a slow start, but he’s
still a viable No. 3 fantasy wideout this week.
* Running back Willie Parker (knee) will not play this
week, and word is that he may miss Week 5 as well. Rashard Mendenhall
will start in his place.
* Mendenhall draws a tough matchup against the Ravens defense, but he’s
still worth a start as a flex option. He should be owned in all fantasy formats
at this point.
* Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (hand) should be fine
health-wise, but the tough Ravens defense makes him a No. 2 fantasy quarterback
this week.
* IDP notes: Cornerback Deshea Townsend (heel) is practicing
fully again, but Bryant McFadden will again draw the start
this week. Safety Troy Polamalu (thigh) practiced fully
Friday and makes a fine IDP option in most leagues.
