Here are some quick hits and tasty tidbits for you to consider as you set your Week 3 Monday night fantasy lineups.
New York Jets
§ Wide receiver Laveranues Coles (thigh) was limited in practice all week, but all indications are that he will play Monday night. Coles makes a decent No. 3 fantasy wideout.
§ Keep an eye on wideout Chansi Stuckey, who has racked up 80 receiving yards and a pair of touchdown in his first two games. Stuckey’s not a big guy, but he seems to be developing a good rapport with quarterback Brett Favre.
§ Kicker Mike Nugent (quadriceps) will again watch from the sidelines this week, with Jay Feely handling the booter duties for the Jets.
§ IDP note: Linebacker Bryan Thomas plays a bit of a hybrid role with the Jets, and may be eligible at D-line in your league. If so, his 12 total tackles and three sacks through two games make him someone to watch.

San Diego Chargers
§ Running back LaDainian Tomlinson (toe) figures to play tonight, but he’ll almost certainly be limited by his jammed right big toe. Don’t look for big numbers from LT, as he’s likely to lose a large number of touches to speedy Darren Sproles.
§ Sproles is dealing with a hamstring injury, but it appears to be minor in nature. Though it’s unknown how he and Tomlinson will split carries, one possible scenario would have Sproles working between the 20s, with LT entering the game in the red zone. Blech.
§ Wideout Chris Chambers is off to a nice start, and has now scored in four consecutive game dating back to last season. He should be an every-week starter at this point.
§ Tight end Antonio Gates was not on the injury report this week, so perhaps he’s getting closer to 100 percent health again.

IDP notes: With linebacker Shawne Merriman (knee) done for the season, cornerbacks Quentin Jammer (17 tackles, one forced fumble) and Antonio Cromartie (10 interceptions last season) become the ‘Bolts’ best IDP options...Keep an eye on second-year safeties Eric Weddle and Clinton Hart, who have piled up 15 total tackle apiece thus far.
