Extra Points > Ouch!

I was feeling the pain enough during Week 3 when for some reason I decided to sit Kevin Curtis and Deshaun Foster, thereby handing my bud Jason Grey a huge (as not only in lopsided, but as in I could'a won, and he should'a lost) win in Todd Zola's NAFFL.

But, I did play Curtis in my other two leagues, at least, and did more than well, but I am still trying to figure why I played who I did, and, well, football is so weird anyway, that it still kind of amazes me that guys like Marc Meltzer and Scott Engel can more than often predict who is going to do what.

But, then this week came, and half my NAFFL team, which includes several Tennessee Titans, was suddenly not playing.

  1. Vince Young
  2. Brandon Jones
  3. Eric Moulds (whom I dropped for Green Bay's Don Lee)
  4. Reggie Williams

And then I started to figure out how to replace Deuce McCallister, my #1 pick (we freeze our first three guys, so technically, Deuce was my #4 pick) who is now lost for the season.

When suddenly, as the week progressed, I had to track Hines Ward, and then Sunday came and Rudi Johnson was toast as well (which makes me feel pretty good now, since I turned down a first week trade offer of Ward and Johnson for Lamont Jordan and Plaxico Burress).

So, I basically went into the equation without six players, if you count Young, Jones, Williams, Johnson, Ward, and McCallister.

So, yes, I lost, although we scored an almost noble 53.10 points. And, my since Young was out for the week, at least I could start my back-up, Alex Smith.

Talk about a heavy sigh (and where is baseball when you need it?).
