Seems like just yesterday I was writing the final Football Hotpage for 2006 and here it is the beginning of the 2007 season already. Football off-season flies by and there is never a dull moment – from free agency, to the NFL Draft, to Michael Vick, to training camp and cut-down day. The NFL provides us with a dandy Thursday opening match-up between the Colts and Saints, a game that should be a fantasy field day. A Monday night doubleheader (Baltimore at Cincinnati and Arizona at San Francisco) complete the exciting weekend’s action.

The 876 fantasy teams ready to draft this coming Saturday in the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF) in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Orlando are anxiously awaiting the gaudy stats from the Colts-Saints game. With the WCOFF draft on Saturday, players from the Thursday game are used retroactively. I expect to see a major shuffle in the first three rounds as a result.
