Sure there will be ups-and-downs, but the weekly rankings show a distinct change near the top. Sure, Tomlinson and Johnson are a clear one-two. Marion Barber might not see the same number of carries that Julius Jones has in Dallas, but the smart fantasy money is on Barber these days. Trying to choose between Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew in Jacksonville? No contest – take Drew’s nine touchdowns, 32 receptions and 5.3 yards-per-carry over the workhorse Taylor. Tiki Barber still has an edge over Brandon Jacobs, but the gap is narrowing each week.
