For the first time in NFL history, six teams will be off in one week. Combine the fantasy-usable players from those teams with the mounting injury list and we figure to have a wild week six. Expect low scoring fantasy games, as every team in relatively deep leagues scrambles just to find players that will play.

Take the wide receivers this week. Players on the list in spots 64-89 are either off, injured, or suspended. At least 14 of the 25 figured to be in a regular starting lineup. Owners must find any viable point they can get. Don’t be surprised if you win your game this week due a big game from an obscure receiver like Roscoe Parrish or Keary Colbert.

Take the time to plan ahead for week seven – when six more teams will be off.
