No Pitcher will get 2 starts this week.

I personally like Johnny Cueto, Edinson Volquez, and Chad Billingsley this week for one start.

Team Schedules

Four Games - New York Mets, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Colorado, San Diego, St. Louis, Detroit and Baltimore.

Everybody else plays three games.

Injuries

1. Willy Mo Pena (OF WAS) - Will have surgery for a torn rotator cuff and could miss the rest of the year.

2. Vernon Wells (OF TOR) - Out for six weeks with a torn hamstring.

3. Takashi Saito (RP LAD) - His sore elbow could land him on the DL.

Players on the Rise

1. Jonathan Broxton (RP LAD) - Pick him up because Saito is going on the DL.

Players on the Decline

1.Pedro Martinez (SP NYM) - Another injury to his shoulder raises a warning flag.
