Breaking News: The Seattle Mariners have fired their GM and Manager....To me this means they will be sellers soon. Rumors have them releasing Richie Sexson and maybe even trading Eric Bedard. I would try and get what you can now for Bedard if you play in an AL only league. Sexson can be replaced by anyone you can get off of the Waiver wire in your League.
 
Injuries:

Bartolo Colon(SP BOS) - Went on the DL after hurting his back while batting in an interleague game against the Phillies.

Paul Konerko(1B CHW) - On the DL with a strained oblique.

Chien-Ming Wang(SP NYY) - Out till Septemebr with that foot injury.

Who's Hot:

1. Vicente Padilla(SP TEX) - He is now a surprising 9-3 with a 3.73 ERA.

2. JD Drew (OF BOS) - Now hitting .327 with 13 HR's and 43 RBI's.

3. Ian Kinsler(2B TEX) - Has 18 SB's and is hitting .308 with 10 HR's and 42 RBI's.

Who's Not:

1. Miguel Batista(SP SEA) - He is 3-8 with 6.09 ERA.

2. Adam Jones(OF BAL) - Only has 4 HR's for the season.

3. Jose Vidro(DH SEA) - Hitting .219 and with Seattle about to clean house, his days may also be numbered.

Fantasy Studs(Last 7 Days)

1. Alex Rodriguez(3B NYY) - A-Rod went 11-21, .524 with 4 HR's and 8 RBI's.

2. Justin Morneau(1B MIN) - Hit .417 with 9 RBI's.

3. Placido Polanco(2B DET) - Went 12-26 a .462 clip.

Fantasy Duds(Last 7 Days)

1. Bobby Crosby(SS OAK) - Hit .208 going 5-24.

2. Evan Longoria(3B TB) - Went 2-20 only a .100 BA.

3. Nick Markakis(OF BAL) - Only 6 hits in 27 AB's a .222 BA.
