Breaking News: The Texas Rangers have two players, Josh Hamilton and Milton Bradley, that are having excellent seasons to date. They are the main reason why Texas
is a game over .500 for the season, with a 34-33 record. You have to feel really good about a guy like Hamilton who has come back from the abyss of substance abuse, to now leading the American League with 71 RBI's, to go along with 17 HR's and a .314 Batting Average. Bradley is such an intense player, so much so, that if things do not go right, he is prone to controversy on the field. We have seen none of this to date on the field, because Bradley is hitting .333 with 14 HR's and 45 RBI's. He did have a run in
with a KC Broadcaster this past Wednesday, but let's hope this does not blow up into anything bigger. Congratulations to both of these young men for overcoming adversity in
their lives, and let's see how the rest of their season goes.
Injuries:
Victor Martinez(C CLE) - Going for an MRI on his balky elbow. Must be some reason why he has 0 HR's on the year.
Jake Westbrook(SP CLE) - Will miss the rest of the season due to Tommy John surgery.
J.J. Putz(RP SEA) - Sore elbow has been nagging him all season. Warning signs are up, so grab Brandon Morrow if you can in a Trade.
Jeremy Bonderman(SP DET) - Surgery for a blood clot has Bonderman out for the season.
Who's Hot:
David Murphy(OF TEX) - Out of nowhere he now has 10 HR's and 46 RBI's.
Jacoby Ellsbury(OF BOS) - Leads the Major Leagues with 29 SB's.
Mike Mussina(SP NYY) - Has a 9-4 record with a 3.82 ERA.
Who's Not:
Robinson Cano(2B NYY) - Still in a funk after 246 AB's. He is hitting only .224 for the season.
Adrian Beltre(3B SEA) - Yo Adrian! A .222 BA is nearing Richie Sexson levels.
Johnny Peralta(SS CLE) - Has pop but that .224 average is a drag on most roto squads.
Fantasy Studs(Last 7 Days)
1. Nick Markakis(OF BAL) - Went 13-24, a .542 clip.
2. Jose Guillen(OF KC) - Blasted 4 HR's with 11 RBI's.
3. J.D. Drew(OF BOS) - Thriving in three hole for Boston, he went 9-19, .474 with 3 HR's and 8 RBI's.
4. Felix Hernandez(SP SEA) - The King is back, going 2-0, with a 0.00 ERA.

1. Tori Hunter(OF LAA) - Hit only .167 by going 4-24.
2. Alex Gordon(3B KC) - Went 4-22, a .182 BA.
