Breaking News: The injury to David Ortiz(DH BOS) rocked the Red Sox for sure, but also sent thousands of Fantasy Players looking for alternatives on the waiver wire.
If you play in an AL only league, and Sean Casey is still around, you may as well pick him up. Also, how about a flier on Barry Bonds? You could do worse. Let's hope Big Papi is really only out about a month and does not require any type of surgery. An aftermath of this injury is that Coco Crisp should play a lot more than he has in the past, increasing his value even more to patient owners who chose to hang on to him.
  
 Injuries:

Vladimir Guerrero(OF LAA) - Went for an MRI on his knee. Hold your breath.

Carlos Pena(1B TB) - Went on the DL with a fractured left index finger. He will not return till late June.

David Ortiz(DH BOS) - See you soon Papi, we hope.

Who's Hot:

Josh Beckett(SP BOS) - Starting to turn things around by tossing 12 innings with 15 K's and a 2.25 ERA.

Joe Saunders(SP LAA) - Now 9-2 with a 2.63 ERA.

Manny Ramirez(OF BOS) - Went over 500 HR's for his Career. Congratulations Manny!

Who's Not:

Jim Thome(DH CHW) - .206 BA is dragging down his 11 Dingers.

Mike Napoli(C LAA) - Has pop, but that .217 BA is a killer.

Paul Konerko(1B CHW) - Down to .202 on the season. You wonder why Ozzie Guillen blows up?

3. Alexi Casilla(2B MIN) - Went 10-26,  a .385 average.

Fantasy Duds(Last 7 Days)

1. Jack Cust(DH OAK) - Went 5-27, a .185 average. Mr. All or Nothing.

2. Curtis Granderson(OF DET) - Hit .231 by going 6-26.

3. Raul Ibanez(OF SEA) - Whole team is struggling, he went 5-21, a .238 average.
