Breaking News: The Detroit Tigers have started the season going 0-7. No team has ever made the playoffs that started the season with seven straight losses. So, the Tigers
have a lot of ground to make-up.

Injuries:

Derel Jeter(SS NYY) has a strained calf and will miss the next 3 games.

Rich Harden(SP OAK) had his start pushed back to Saturday. The A's right now are saying it is some soreness in his back, and nothing to do with his arm.

Howie Kendrick(2B LAA) is day to day with a sore thumb.

Justin Duchscherer(SP OAK) is on the DL with a right biceps strain.

Cliff Floyd(DH TB) is out with torn cartilage in his right knee.

Matt Garza(SP TB) is on the 15 Day DL with radial nerve irritation.

Mike Lowell(3B BOS) will miss a few days with a strained left thumb.

Francisco Rodriguez(RP LAA) will also miss a few games with ankle issues.

Michael Cuddyer(OF MIN) is on the 15 Day DL with a dislocated right finger.

Who's Hot:

Tori Hunter(OF LAA) - Likes his new digs in LA. He has 4 Dingers in the early going.

Luke Scott(OF BAL) - Hitting .500 for the Birds.

Vernon Wells(OF TOR) - I see him bouncing back this season. He has 3 HR's and is hitting .300

Who's Not:

Adam Jones(OF BAL) - Rookie is hitting .217, and may see some bench time against the tougher pitchers in the AL.

Michael Young(SS TEX) - Only hitting .201, but I would ride this out.

Johhny Damon(OF NYY) - His better days are behind him. Batting only .212, he will rebound, but not to the levels we once saw.
