For the KFFL Expert draft held yesterday I run an experiment. I restrained my brain, inhibited my impulses, squelched my instincts and used CreativeSport's ZEN Engine ranking exclusively. That is, I picked whoever the ZEN Engine ranked next on the available list. Not an easy thing to do, right?
Did it work? Surprisingly yes. First of all, it was the least stressful draft I ever had.
Did I get a well balanced team? You be the judge, see below.
Did I ever deviate from the ZEN Engine? I did, I must confess. Around the mid of the draft I realized that there were plenty of late round OFs so I jumped on pitchers.
