AL or Nothing > Week 22

On to the roundup for the week...

We are seeing a very good pitcher fade away during this season's pennant drive. The Yankees have replaced Mike Mussina in the starting rotation with rookie Ian Kennedy. After 2 dreadfull starts where he rarley threw above 84-86 MPH and got blasted by the Tigers and Angels, the Yankees had to make the move. This could be another Lou Gehrig/Wally Pipp chapter in Yankees history.

Injuries:

Manny Ramirez - Manny is out indefinitely with a strained left oblique.

Eric Bedard - He will miss his start this Saturday due to a sore oblique.

Travis Metcalf - He went on the 15 Day DL with a strained hamstring.

Who's Hot:

John Lackey - He has 16 Wins and is leading the Angels to the AL West title.

Kendry Morales - Got the call when Casey Kotchman was nicked up and responded with 1 HR and 4 RBI last week.

Jason Tyner - He is hitting .304 and is seeing consistent playing time.

Who's Not:

Troy Glaus - His 18 HR's are dissapointing.

Travis Hafner - Still scuffling with a .255 BA.

J.D. Drew - 17 Million for this: .260 with 7 HR's and 46 RBI? Good Grief.

Fantasy Studs for the Week(Last 7 Days):

Raul Ibanez - Went 11-27, and is keeping Seattle in the race.

B.J. Upton - Batted .407 with 2 HR's and 8 RBI.

Magglio Ordonez - He was 13-31, .419 with 1 HR.

Fantasy Duds for the Week(Last 7 Days):

Juan Uribe - He was 2-26, .077 as the White Sox continue to tank.

Paul Konerko - He added to the cause by going 2-24, .083.

Derek Jeter - The Captain went 3-18, a .167 BA.

Got a fantasy question you would like answered in my column? Send it to me via
