On to the roundup for the week...
The Tigers called up Cameron Maybin this past week. In his first game he took Roger Clemens deep, showing off his developing power. His next time up Clemens drilled him on a pitch up and in as Maybin seemed to be crowding the plate. Seems like the rookie will need to study game films a little bit more since he seemed to be the only one in the park who did not think Clemens was going to dust him off.
The Texas Rangers set a modern day record by scoring 30 runs agianst the Orioles last night. Amazingly, Michael Young did not get a single RBI in the contest.
