On to the roundup for the week...

The train that is about to run over the Indians, Tigers and Mariners is none other than the Bronx Express. The Yankees were left for dead in May. They have gone 20-7 since the All Star Break, and are now in the thick of the Wild Card race. The Red Sox may also want to look over their shoulders, because as Satchel Paige would tell them, "something is gaining on you". Once 12 games up on the Yankees, they wake up today only 5 games in front of their arch rivals.

Injuries:

Eric Chavez - He is out with back problems. Their is no timetable for his return.

Jorge De La Rosa - He went on the DL with a left elbow strain.

Gary Sheffield - He is not on the DL, but has been out for a few days with shoulder soreness.

Who's Hot:

Joba Chamberlain - Yankees super pitching phenom made his debut on Tuesday, tossing 2 scoreless innings.

Robinson Cano - Now hitting .308 with 11 HR's and 65 RBI's.

Carlos Guillen - Tigers Shortstop is hitting .314 with 14 HR's and 74 RBI's.

Kelvim Escobar - He is 11-6 with a 2.79 ERA.

Who's Not:

Juan Uribe- His average is down to .219.

Craig Monroe - Only hitting .220 with 11 Dingers.

Bobby Crosby - .226 average not getting it doen for the A's.

Fantasy Studs for the Week(Last 7 Days):

Carl Crawford - He went 17-28, .607 BA, with 2 HR's and 3 SB's.

Vladimir Guerrero - Vlad slammed 4 Dingers with 9 RBI's

Bobby Abreu - The much malinged Abreu hit 2 HR's and had 10 RBI's.

Frank Thomas - The Big Hurt ripped 2 HR's and had 11 RBI's.

Fantasy Duds for the Week(Last 7 Days):

Chad Gaudin - Hitters have caught up to him, he had a 9.82 ERA in 11 IP's.

Garrett Anderson - Hit ony .241 with 1 Dinger.

Josh Fields - Rookie is struggling going 4-21, .190 BA.

Dan Johnson - Went 3-20, .150 BA, with 1 HR.
